I call this an angry rooster because of the look on his face. I don't know if all roosters look angry but this guy sure didn't look like he was smiling. This is a wheel thrown mug that I created out of soft stoneware clay. The rooster image on the exterior is from a stencil that I created from a photograph that I knocked down to black and white. I used the stencil for the black image of the rooster. It's a fun process that I'm having a good time with. The rooster belonged to a friend that had a bunch of chickens and this guy. This rooster was the only one that would pose for me.

Lots of colors to choose from for the background color. Be sure to make your selection when you check out. And yes you can personalize this mug with a name or phrase!

Don't you just love the way a warm mug of coffee or tea feels in your hands. I think handles are so important, I've purchased some beautiful mugs but the handles are positioned so close to the mug that I burn my fingers whenever I try to pick up the hot cup. For this very reason I make sure that all of my mugs are created to ensure a safe and pleasurable drinking experience. A lot of thought must go into trying to make the perfect mug. The feel of the lip has to be smooth. And let's not forget how the mug looks. The surface treatment must be special. If it's a mug that you take to work with you, it's one that you'll be looking at every day of your work week. It can brighten your space, especially if you don't have a lot of room for desk accessories. So as a mug-maker I feel that I have a responsibility to the world. Let me share my mugs with you!

100% handmade by me using soft stoneware clay. Both the clay and glazes that I use are non-toxic and foodsafe. This mug is ok in the dishwasher and microwave. This mug will hold right around 12 ounces, if filled to the brim.

Please note because this is a made to order mug please allow 3-4 weeks for shipment to be made.

My shipping policy is if the actual shipping costs are greater than $1 less than the shipping charges in the listing, I will refund the difference to the buyer. It's the right thing to do.

Payments

I accept payment through PayPal as well as Etsy Direct Checkout and Etsy Gift Cards Please be sure to follow all of the links to make sure that your payment is processed completely. If this is your first time, and have questions, please send me a convo.
I allow 7 days for you to make payment. If payment is not received within 7 days the sale will be cancelled and the item will be relisted. If there's going to be a delay in making payment, please let me know ahead of time and we can work something out.

Shipping from United States

Once I've received confirmation of your payment your purchase will go out to you with an e-mail to you to confirm shipment. I prefer to ship via USPS or FedEx. If you prefer a different carrier, please let me know and I'll make it happen for you. If the shipping costs are less than what you paid, I'll refund the excess. I take great care in packing to make sure that your purchase arrives unbroken. Damages do happen, unfortunately, and if, when you receive your shipment, there is damage, broken or chipped, please convo me asap so that I can file the claim. Your choice refund or replacement.

International shipping? Yes, most listings are available for international shipping. Larger items are excluded due to the high cost.

Refunds

My goal is to make my customers happy. If you are not 100% thrilled with your purchase - do not hesitate to contact me. Not a problem returning the item. Just send me an Etsy Conversation first. Time-frame for returns is 14 days from the date that you received the item. You will be refunded the cost of the piece including shipping charges. Your refund will be in the same form of payment used to place your order. Please be sure to insure the shipment. Unfortunately I cannot refund if the item arrives broken and is not insured. If you'd prefer to exchange for another piece, not a problem, just let me know.

Gifts- if you received item(s) as a gift, I understand that the 14 day rule for returns may be difficult, for that reason I will accept gift returns within a reasonable number of days. Please send me an Etsy Conversation. If a gift is returned you have two options: 1) You may receive a Gift Certificate or 2) You can elect to have the buyer be credited for the purchase price of the item
